Using DW’s HVX maple shells, the Performance Series maximizes tonal depth and projection. The toms feature 45° bearing edges for crisp attack, while the bass drum has 60° edges for deep, resonant low end. Reduced-size Quarter Turret lugs, STM Suspension tom mounts, and True-Pitch tension rods ensure superior tuning accuracy and ease of setup. Graduated counter hoops, tailored to each shell size, provide a dynamic balance of attack and sustain, making this shell pack versatile for a wide range of musical styles.
